The Dunes Golf and Beach Club opened for play on October 22, 1949, and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and is located in Myrtle Beach, SC. It has ranked in “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses”, and is considered one of the top resort facilities in 2009. It is considered as one of best classicly designed courses built before 1960. The fairways feature a natural shaped setting creating an intimate golf experience. The design uses the land to create a course with a great deal of integrity and detail. This championship layout features 4 sets of teeboxes for the enjoyment of golfers of all skill levels. Online tee times may be available at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club or at nearby golf courses, usually offered at a discount from the normal rate.
