Shaftesbury Golf Club and Fish Club is located in Conway, South Carolina. Clive Johnston designed the course which opened in 2001. It features wide fairways, elevated greens and difficult doglegs. Named after Shaftesbury, England it is a traditional design set up with an English flair, including a stone-gated entrance and an Olde English inspired clubhouse..It is a challenging course with a slope of 135 and a rating of 74. This facility is unique in that is contains an excellant Fishing Club along the Waccamaw River. Online tee times may be available at Shaftesbury Glen Golf and Fish Club or at nearby golf courses, often at a substantial discount from the going green fees rate.
