Alabama is most famous for the Robert Trent Jones Trail. This is perhaps the most prestigious selection of 432 holes at 10 sites in the country. The largest golf construction site in the world it offers challenges for all levels of golfers. Seven of the 10 are easy and suitable for novice golfers with rates between $40- $70. The newest course is the Ross course (at 8,191 yards from the back tees), with parkland style landscaping is located in Birmingham. It is more expensive, but with its signature waterfall is worth the price.
